Shipping Glossary

Shipping Charges – Shipping charges quoted online using our website are preliminary estimates subject to change. Changes, if any, in your order's shipping charges will be noted in your Order Confirmation you will receive from us. Orders are charged applicable shipping costs based on estimated carton rates. This applies to the 48 contiguous states; residents in Alaska or Hawaii please contact us for shipping rates. On all orders, a $4.00 handling fee will be added to shipping charges. If applicable, a $2.31 United Parcel Service ("UPS") surcharge will be placed on any residential delivery. Most orders are shipped via UPS - LuvMedical preferred common carrier. On large orders or items too heavy to ship UPS, we will ship by alternate carrier. Delivery up to 5 days after receipt of order. Next day, second or third day shipping is available for an additional charge, please contact us for rate information.
Shipping Freight Collect – We offer you the option to ship your order via your own preferred common carrier ("Freight Collect"). If you would like to ship Freight Collect, you must include your carrier's name and your shipping account number with your order. Please note that a 1 or 2 day delay in dispatching your order is possible when you do not ship with our preferred common carrier.
Drop Shipment – Merchandise that is shipped directly from the manufacturer to the customer's door.
Inside Delivery – Applies to any freight order delivery that is taken off a truck and carried into the customer's facility by the delivery company driver. Please call for additional cost.
Shortage – Please check your packing list that comes with your shipment for possible backorders or drop-shipped items. If there are lost or missing products, please contact us immediately.
Shipping Terms and Conditions – Shipping and delivery charges are based from LuvMedical location in Lafayette, LA, to the customer's delivery destination that they have specified. Drop-ship delivery charges are based from the manufacturer's location to customer specified destinations. Other charges (inside deliveries, lift-gate deliveries, or residential deliveries) may be quoted by LuvMedical upon request. Please understand that you are responsible for any accessorial changes that you request, either on your purchase order or at the time of delivery.
